Fiona Joy

Anglesey, North Wales, and distance work worldwide.

I’ve always had an interest in animals and nature, and have found enormous personal healing from spending time with my animal friends, in particular my horses, from a very early age.

I am an HCPC-registered occupational therapist, but I have also explored a range of more esoteric healing and therapy approaches over the years such as aromatherapy and crystal healing, and now shamanism. A connection with the natural world for health and wellbeing has always been essential to me and my passion for being around horses led me to becoming a qualified Equine Facilitated Therapy practitioner, working with horses for human healing.

When I found Therapeutic Shamanism, Paul Francis and the Three Ravens College almost five years ago, it felt like ‘coming home’ to something I had been seeking for so long. To be able to access the healing gifts of Mother Nature in this way has added such an enriching dimension to my life, that I can honestly say it has been life-changing. I feel so blessed and honoured to be a practitioner of this deeply healing and nurturing work and to be able to share it with others.

I live on a smallholding on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey in North Wales and I share my space with my husband, two cats and two horses, plus some wild buzzards, kestrels, ravens, crows, about a million rabbits, pheasants, partridges and many other creatures. When I’m not communing with nature, I enjoy painting and sketching animals and plants.

I work face-to-face and by telephone and I offer animal healing too. Sessions usually last around 1.5 hours and for this, I charge on a sliding scale of £50-70 depending on what you feel you would like to pay.
